Sheet Metal Tech Positions And Responsibilities

Sheet Metal Tech I

This is an entry-level laborer position with limited to no experience or knowledge in the HVAC industry or sheet metal installation. Responsibilities include assisting in the fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair of HVAC-related sheet metal products and equipment, as well as maintaining cleanliness of the site.

Sheet Metal Tech II

This position requires 3 or more years of experience and in-depth knowledge of sheet metal and dry-side HVAC applications and design. Responsibilities include fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing HVAC sheet metal products and equipment, under supervision.

Sheet Metal Tech III

With 5 or more years of experience, this role requires mastery knowledge of sheet metal and dry-side HVAC applications and design. Responsibilities include fabricating, assembling, installing, repairing HVAC sheet metal products, performing equipment startups, and working under minimal supervision.
