Job summary

Tropic-Kool Mechanical Services, a Fidelity Company, is seeking a seasoned Sheetmetal Fabricator to join our Tampa Bay area team. With 5+ years of blueprint reading, you will fabricate ductwork and support HVAC installations in a fast-paced shop and field environment.

Based in Largo, FL, you will read specs, lay out roof curbs, and measure ducts, coordinating with the onsite foreman and general contractors to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HVAC installation and Sheetmetal fabrication.
• Strong ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• OSHA 10 Required.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints, specifications, and submittals.
• Identify and layout roof curbs for installation of AC equipment and RTU’s.
• Measure duct connections or mods in the field for fabrication.
• Collaborate and coordinate with your onsite Foreman and General Contractors.
