Job summary

United Mechanical is seeking Commercial Sheet Metal Mechanics to join our team in Southwest Florida. As a team member, you will contribute to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing services for hospitals, schools, hospitality, and commercial facilities.

Responsibilities include ductwork layout, reading prints, and assisting with testing. Candidates should have 2+ years in sheet metal ductwork, strong math and verbal skills, and a safety‑minded, team‑oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sheet metal ductwork installation.
• Strong verbal and math skills.
• Must have an honest and dependable personality.
• Self-motivated individual with ability to work alone or in a team.
• Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely.
• Obtain OSHA 10 certificate.
