Job summary

Snow & Company is seeking a Sheet Metal Shop Manager to lead the sheet metal division, overseeing press brake, metal forming, tube bending, and laser teams. You will drive profitability from outside jobs while supporting internal work, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong leadership, process optimization, and the ability to manage projects and respond to changing demands in a fast-paced shipyard environment in Seattle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business management.
• Knowledge of shop math and computers.
• Knowledge of means and methods, material types, fabrication details, and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
• Act independently and efficiently.
• Strong collaboration skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.
• Positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize scheduling for the machine shop.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of press brake, metal forming, tube bending and laser teams.
• Develop SOPs for the sheet metal shop and management teams.
• Ensure quality control and on-time production across departments.
• Lead business development and build relationships with customers.
• Develop CRM system and manage customer pipelines.
