A leading company in commercial roofing solutions is seeking a Foreman to lead sheet metal operations. The role involves overseeing fabrication, ensuring quality control, and managing a crew. We are currently looking to add a Foreman to lead sheet metal operations from our Tampa location. This individual will be responsible for fabrication of all sheet metal used on various commercial roof systems. The individual may oversee the installation of sheet metal on commercial or industrial projects. Job Duties:
Skills and Qualifications:
Work is performed in a warehouse environment with varying environmental temperature conditions. Must be able to work in extreme hot and cold conditions.
Standing and walking for significant periods to operate fabrication machinery. Repetitive bending, squatting, twisting, and stooping, with infrequent lifting up to 120 pounds. Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
Regular operation of heavy equipment required. Work in a fast-paced environment with precise standards.
Repetitive finger, hand, and forearm motions for fabricating metal. Exposure to noise during fabrication. Climbing ladders and working at heights may be necessary.
Up to 10% travel to job sites for quality control. Ability to manipulate keyboards, telephones, and perform manual tasks required.
Talking, listening, manual dexterity, and physical stamina are essential.
