BCH Mechanical, L.L.C. is seeking a Sheetmetal Shop Coordinator in Largo, FL to manage prefabrication docs, schedules, and liaise between design, fabrication, and field teams. You will help improve productivity and ensure on-time delivery of sheet metal components.

Ideal candidates have strong reading of drawings, experience with prefabrication, and proficiency in CAM/CAD tools; 5+ years in commercial sheet metal is preferred. Competitive benefits available.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training in construction, sheet metal, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial sheet metal fabrication, installation, or coordination preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and schedule sheet metal prefabrication activities aligned with project schedules.
• Process field orders and model fabrication data using CAM software.
• Review drawings, specifications, and BIM models for prefabrication opportunities.
• Provide shop admin support and collaborate with BIM/VDC teams and field supervisors.
• Maintain prefabrication schedules, material lists, and work packages.
• Ensure components meet quality, design, and tolerance requirements.
• Track fabrication progress and report status to project teams.
• Assist in resolving design conflicts and field coordination challenges.
• Support continuous improvement for prefabrication efficiency, safety, and costs.
