Job summary

EVAPCO, Inc. is seeking a Sheet Metal Operator for the day shift (5am-3:30pm) in Taneytown, MD. The role includes basic sheet metal operations, teamwork on quality and safety initiatives, and adherence to production schedules.

Training will be provided as directed by management. Candidate should be willing to learn, read production orders and shop drawings, and maintain excellent attendance. A valid driver’s license is required to operate within the plant and support 10-hour shifts

Qualifications

• Basic Sheet Metal machine operations; cutting, breaking, and sorting of parts.
• Participate in team and shop business problem solving activities that include quality, safety, scrap reduction, and process improvements.
• Meet or exceed annual safety, quality, 5-S, and productivity targets.
• Attend training courses as directed by management.
