Qualifications

• Strong understanding of sheet metal manufacturing processes.
• Set up, program edits and operation of CNC Turret Punch machines according to job specific requirements.
• Perform regular equipment preventive maintenance according to manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Set up work station and appropriately select tooling for assigned jobs.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and policies.
• Interface with Engineering on process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate thin metal sheets based on blueprints and job specifications.
• Read blueprints, set up and operate fabrication machinery with precision.
• Measure finished parts for conformance to tolerances and inspect quality.

The Sheet Metal Operator will be responsible for fabricating thin metal sheets used in a variety of applications. In this role, the operator will read and interpret blueprints to set up, program, and operate key fabrication machinery. They will accurately measure and cut raw materials to precise tolerances, inspect finished products for quality control, and perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Strong understanding of sheet metal manufacturing processes

Desired skills and knowledge;

• CNC press brake experience in a precision production environment
• proficient with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
