Job summary

TradeSource, Inc. is hiring a tin knocker/sheet metal mechanic with duct experience at our Salisbury, MA facility.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on skills in fabricating and installing sheet metal components used in duct systems. Primary requirements include 2+ years of sheet metal experience, ability to trim shape with shears and saws, and securing components with rivets, welding, or adhesives, plus familiarity with PPE and safe handling practices.

Job description

We are hiring a tin knocker/sheet metal mechanic with duct experience. The ideal sheet metal installer should have the following experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of Sheet Metal experience preferred.
• Ability to trim and shape sheet metal using shears and saws
• Ability to secure components with rivets, welding, or adhesives
• Familiarity with hand and power tools, such as snips, drills, grinders, and rivet guns
• Knowledge about PPE and safe working practices, including safely lifting, transporting, and positioning sheet metal pieces
