Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, and service of duct systems; strict adherence to specifications; and recording work progress for supervisors and engineers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical sheet metal training recommended.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, machinery operation, welding, and metal forming techniques.

Responsabilités

• Fabrication and Assembly: measure, cut, bend and shape sheet metal to create HVAC components.
• Installation: fit and align fabricated ductwork and industrial systems.
• Repair and Maintenance: inspect and repair damaged sheet metal parts to meet safety standards.
• Blueprint Interpretation: read technical drawings and work orders for project requirements.
• Joining Techniques: weld, solder, rivet, bolt or braze components.
• Quality Control: inspect work, test duct airflow, ensure specs and safety compliance.
• Documentation and Communication: keep records and coordinate with supervisors and engineers.
