Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic.
• Proficiency with ductwork, air handling units, VAV boxes, and fan power boxes.
• Read and interpret blueprints and convert to shop drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Physical ability to lift and manipulate large metal pieces.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment (ductwork, AHUs, VAV boxes, fan power boxes).
• Use tools and techniques such as slide and drive, snap lock, and TDF.
• Read blueprints or specs to determine fabrication and installation sequence.
• Measure and mark dimensions on metal sheets with gauges and templates.
• Convert blueprints into shop drawings for construction or assembly.
