Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. The role involves assembling and installing sheet metal products and duct systems, requiring a strong technical background, safety adherence, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Determine layout of systems and read blueprints for installation planning.
• Run square and spiral duct, ensuring precise alignment.
• Set hangers for duct and curbs as per specifications.
• Install VAV boxes and perform light fabrication.
• Measure and mark sheet metal for cutting and fitting.
• Operate metalworking machines for cutting, punching, shaping, or straightening sheet metal.
• Finish seams and joints for smoothness.
• Inspect products for quality and specifications compliance.
• Cut materials safely using power tools or manually.
• Fabricate, assemble, erect, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment.
• Maintain safety standards on-site.
• Uphold integrity and professionalism in all tasks.

Role Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds and work outdoors for 8 hours.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to commute to job sites.
• Strong work ethic, commitment to safety and quality.
• At least 3 years of experience in sheet metal work on commercial or industrial sites.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good hand-eye coordination and physical fitness.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Effective communication skills and teamwork ability.
