Dover Food Retail is seeking a Machine Operator II – Sheetmetal to support operations in our manufacturing environment. The role involves running brake presses, lasers, punch presses, sanders and deburring machines, and completing parts for the kitting department.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate sheet metal equipment and maintain quality
• Ability to read blueprints and follow work orders precisely
• Experience with measuring tools and gauges for tolerances
• Commitment to safe work practices and housekeeping
• Willingness to rotate through different workstations as required

Responsibilities

• Operate all sheet metal equipment (brake presses, lasers, punch presses, sanders, deburring)
• Complete part requirements for the kitting department
• Read rulers, tape measures, squares, calipers and other measuring tools
• Follow written and verbal instructions and interpret blueprints and orders
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and tooling
• Inspect finished parts for conformance to specs and dimensions
• Monitor machinery and adjust to ensure quality and efficiency
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
• Adhere to safety equipment requirements and procedures
• Contribute to team efforts and adapt to production needs
