Job summary

The role requires reading instructions, basic math, and strong attention to detail. Prior machining experience is preferred; knowledge of brake presses or CNC equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience operating machinery in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with brake press, CNC or metal fabrication equipment is a plus.
• Basic math and ability to read measurements.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor machinery to produce sheet metal and enclosure components.
• Follow production schedules and work instructions to meet daily output goals.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to ensure product quality.
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on machines to ensure safe operation.
• Inspect parts for defects and verify conformance to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area per 6-S and safety standards.
• Document and label parts and materials accurately.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Participate in cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives.
