Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Layout Technician for the 2nd Shift at our Troy, IL facility. The role involves operating sheet metal fabrication machines, reading shop orders and engineering drawings, and performing quality checks with calibration tools. Typical hours are 3:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• No immigration sponsorship or related support offered for this position.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate sheet metal fabrication machines and read shop orders and engineering drawings.
• Perform quality checks and use calibration equipment (e.g., calipers) as required.
• Run machine operations including brake press, flanger, buffalo roller, and hand shearing.
