Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Machine Operator I on the 3rd shift at our Troy, IL facility. Core hours are Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Overtime may be required. The position offers benefits from day one, with a wage of $24.87 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential and progression to $26.61 after 10 months. Responsibilities include operating sheet metal fabrication machinery, reading shop orders and drawings, conducting quality checks, and using calipers and related calibration tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read shop orders and engineering drawings.
• Willingness to learn calibration procedures and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate sheet metal fabrication machines and read shop orders.
• Read and understand engineering drawings; perform quality checks.
• Use calibration equipment such as calipers and related tools.
• Operate machines handling flat sheet metal (steel and aluminum).
• Follow safety guidelines and quality training requirements.
