YESCO in Salt Lake City is seeking a Sheetmetal Journeyman to fabricate high quality sheet metal signs under general supervision. You will oversee sign parts, cut materials, and coordinate with the team to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities include reading plans, operating brakes and welding equipment, shaping parts, and training apprentices per YESCO standards. The role demands strong attention to detail, safety, and the ability to manage production goals while maintaining quality.

Competenze

• Eight or more years of sheet metal fabrication experience.
• Completion of YESCO or other sheet metal apprenticeship preferred.
• 3G Welding certificate or equivalent is required.

Mansioni

• Plan, coordinate, and delegate sheet metal projects to meet deadlines.
• Review plans to ensure accurate cutting of materials for sign parts.
• Prepare materials and minimize waste; cut to specifications.
• Operate metal cutting and welding equipment per job specs.
• Maintain quality control and safety during cutting and welding.
• Train sheet metal helpers and apprentices as per YESCO standards.
