Job summary

Comfort Systems USA Shoffner is seeking a Journeyman Sheet Metal Mechanic to perform quality commercial HVAC duct installation on local Knoxville projects. You’ll read blueprints, lay out and install duct work, unload and move heavy components, and finish and seal duct work to pass testing.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial sheet metal installation experience.
• Journeyman-level training or documented field experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and layout skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Understand blueprints and drawings.
• Lay out and install commercial duct work in varied settings.
• Unload, move, and handle duct work.
• Finish and seal duct work to pass testing.
• Help train apprentices.
• Work at heights using ladders, lifts, or roofs.
