Job summary

R & D SPECIALTIES LLC. in Odessa, TX is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Installer / Metal Building Technician to install sheet metal components on pre-engineered metal buildings, including trim systems, doors, hardware, and weatherproofing assemblies.

This hands-on role requires strong mechanical skills and attention to detail in busy shop and field environments. You will also assist in material preparation and cutting for welders in a steel fabrication setting, lift heavy materials, and work

Qualifications

Proven experience installing sheet metal on metal or steel buildings.
Strong experience with sheet metal trim systems.
Proficient with tools such as shears, brakes, drills, grinders, saws, and other fabrication equipment.
Experience installing doors, hardware, and weather stripping.
General knowledge of steel fabrication processes; ability to lift heavy materials.
