Job summary

RQ Construction, LLC is seeking skilled Sheet Metal Installers to join our Mechanical team for ongoing projects at Kings Bay Naval Base, GA and surrounding areas. Work is on a military installation with Davis-Bacon prevailing wage.

Install ductwork, air distribution systems and HVAC equipment on active sites, ensuring quality and compliance. Requirements include 4+ years field experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years field or trade experience; journey-level sheet metal work in a commercial or facilities environment.
• Government, military, or large commercial/industrial construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

RQ Construction is seeking skilled Sheet Metal Installers to join our Mechanical team for ongoing projects at Kings Bay Naval Base , GA and t he surrounding area. All work is performed on a military installation and is compensated in accor dance with the req uired Davis-Bacon prevailing wage specific to the base. Sheet Metal Installers fabricate and install ductwork, air distribution systems, and HVAC equipment on active construction sites. The role requires applying mechanical knowledge, interpreting project requirements, and using appropriate tools and equipment to complete quality installations. All work must meet applicable codes and standards while following established safety procedures and supporting RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Compensation And Benefits

• Pay Range: $18.62 - 44.00 per hour DOE
• Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
• 401(k) with company match
• Paid Time Off: 1 week vacation plus

accrued sick time

Requirements For This Position Include:
