Job summary

RQ Construction is seeking skilled Sheet Metal Installers to join our Mechanical team for ongoing projects at Kings Bay Naval Base, GA, and the surrounding area. All work is performed on a military installation and is compensated in accordance with the Davis-Bacon prevailing wage specific to the base.

Sheet Metal Installers fabricate and install ductwork, air distribution systems, and HVAC equipment on active construction sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimal education required for this position
• 4 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade experience. Journey-level sheet metal work in a commercial or facilities operations environment is required; government, military, or large commercial/industrial construction experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Sheet Metal Installers fabricate and install ductwork, air distribution systems, and HVAC equipment on active construction sites.
• Interpret project requirements and use appropriate tools and equipment to complete quality installations.

All work is performed on a military installation and is compensated in accor dance with the req uired Davis-Bacon prevailing wage specific to the base.

Sheet Metal Installers fabricate and install ductwork, air distribution systems, and HVAC equipment on active construction sites. The role requires applying mechanical knowledge, interpreting project requirements, and using appropriate tools and equipment to complete quality installations. All work must meet applicable codes and standards while following established safety procedures and supporting RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $18.62 - 44.00 per hour DOE
