About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Installer to join our team in Fort Worth, TX, specializing in high-quality metal roofing systems for commercial and industrial buildings. In this role, you'll install, repair, and maintain roofing systems that prioritize durability, safety, and performance, all while collaborating with a team of experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain metal roofing systems on commercial and industrial buildings.
Safely handle and transport roofing materials and tools.
Inspect roof conditions and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
Interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Cut, shape, and weld metal sheets to fit roof structures.
Apply sealants and waterproofing materials to prevent leaks.
Operate hand and power tools, including welding equipment.
Uphold high safety and quality standards on all job sites.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues such as leaks or structural concerns.
Communicate with clients regarding project updates and recommendations.
Requirements
Previous experience as a sheet metal installer, lead installer, or foreman.
Proficiency in working with:
Standing seam roofs
Coping, collector heads, and downspouts
ACM, IMP, and single skin wall panel systems
Experience with commercial roofing systems preferred.
OSHA 10 or 30 Certification strongly preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Reliable transportation and own basic tools.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions.
Comfortable working at heights and in tight spaces.
Compensation and Benefits
$22–$28 per hour, depending on experience
