Job summary

Anchor Fabrication Fort Worth is seeking a Forklift Operator to move products and materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will perform safety checks, identify materials, verify IDs, and move loads to the correct work area while maintaining high quality and productivity.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of forklift experience, basic computer skills, and a clean driving record. Sheet metal experience and forklift certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of forklift experience in manufacturing.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to follow schedules.
• Clean driving record with no property damage accidents in past 3 years.
• Good eye/hand coordination and motor skills.
• Dependable, mature and able to handle equipment safely.
• Must pass in-company forklift certification.
• Experience with sheet metal is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operations and safety checks (battery, seat belt, brakes, life control, fire extinguisher).
• Identify raw materials, in-process or finished products, equipment or processing materials.
• Check material identification and cross-reference with production/shipping schedules.
• Move loads safely to assigned areas and keep work areas organized.
• Report inconsistencies or problems to supervisors.
• Other duties as assigned.
