Requirements:

• A typical welder/fabricator position requires four years of welding experience; or completion of an accredited two-year welder's training program and two years of welding experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
• Possession of a current driver's license or state-issued ID is required.
• Operate iron worker, power shears, grinders, metal forming equipment, and a variety of welding equipment and hand tools.
• Analyze plans, drawings, work samples, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of welding assignments.
• Recommend supplies and materials to be ordered.
• Knowledge of welding techniques (Electric Arc, MIG, TIG), tools, and equipment.
• Basic fabrication and layout skills.
