Job summary

DIRTT Environmental Solutions in Savannah, GA is seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator for on-site, full-time hours (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM). You will read blueprints, select materials, and cut, bend, weld, and assemble sheet metal to spec, while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

You should have hands-on experience with press brakes, laser cutters, and welding equipment and be comfortable coordinating with maintenance and other departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in a custom sheet metal environment.
• Proficient reading of blueprints and shop drawings.
• Welding certification preferred.
• Forklift certification obtainable in-house.

Responsibilities

• Produce sheet metal components from blueprints and work orders.
• Select materials per job specifications.
• Cut, bend, shape, weld, and assemble sheet metal to spec.
• Operate machines and software to finish jobs.
• Coordinate equipment shutdowns and startups with maintenance.
