Job summary

DIRTT Environmental Solutions is seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator in Savannah to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on cutting, bending, welding, and assembling sheet metal components to precise specifications.

You’ll read blueprints, select materials, and operate press brakes, laser cutters, and welding equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards. You will work Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and accuracy are

Qualifications

• Experience in a custom sheet metal environment with safety focus.
• Ability to read shop drawings and interpret blueprints.
• Welding certification preferred; TIG welding experience a plus.
• Knowledge of turret punch/laser/press brake equipment is a plus.
• Excellent hand tools and measurement skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Consult blueprints and work orders to safely produce sheet metal components.
• Select materials based on specifications and job requirements.
• Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required dimensions.
• Weld and assemble parts per specs and drawings.
• Operate equipment and coordinate equipment shutdowns/startups with maintenance.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work space.
