Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator in Pomona, CA. You will interpret blueprints, operate fabrication equipment, and ensure parts meet exact specifications while maintaining a safe workspace.

The role requires 6+ months in fabrication, experience with forming and punching, and the ability to read shop drawings. 1st shift, 5:00am-1:30pm, with potential for direct-hire and pay progression.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of fabrication experience, specifically forming and punching.
• Proficiency with blueprints and basic shop math is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, templates and work orders to fabricate sheet metal and related materials.
• Set up, program, test, and operate fabrication equipment such as punch, shear, and brake to cut, pierce, bend and shape materials.
• Assemble and finish components using welding, riveting, bolting, soldering, caulking, grinding and deburring; inspect parts for quality.
