Textron Aviation is seeking a Sheet Metal Hand Form/Check and Straight Operator to set up and run machines that shape and fabricate aircraft components. You will transform parts per blueprints using a range of fabrication tools and ensure high-quality surface finishes.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years in related equipment operation, and automotive experience is a plus in our Wichita facility. Competitive total rewards apply.

Qualifications

• High School education, GED, or a Bronze Level WorkKeys certification is required.
• 1-3 years experience operating related equipment.
• Experience in related fields such as automotive is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate a variety of machines to fabricate aircraft components into parts.
• Transform and straighten diverse parts based on blueprints and instructions using fabrication equipment such as hammers, drills, and shrinkers.
