Gardner-Watson Decking, Inc. is seeking a Construction Crew Member to support sheet metal decking installation on projects in Fayetteville, GA. The role requires safe installation on steel framing and shear stud installation, with travel to various sites.

Qualifications

• 100% nationwide travel required.
• Able to lift at least 75 lbs and work at heights over 40 feet.
• Experience with sheet metal decking installation and ironwork.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lay and attach metal decking on steel structures.
• Operate hand, power, pneumatic, and powder-actuated tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• Accurately report time and attendance daily.
• Comply with OSHA, customer, and company safety standards.

Gardner-Watson Decking, Inc is seeking a new Construction Crew Member to support our sheet metal decking installation projects in Fayetteville, Georgia.

This role involves the safe installation of sheet metal decking on steel framing and performing shear stud installation.

The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working at heights and in varied weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay and attach metal decking on steel structures
• Operate hand, power, pneumatic, and powder-actuated tools safely and effectively
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
• Accurately report time and attendance daily
• Comply with OSHA, customer, and company safety standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, hourly, working daytime shift only
• Projects typically last 2-3 months each but some last much longer. When a project ends, each crew travels to a different city/state to start the next project.
• Work hours are based on job site requirements and may vary slightly due to seasonal and weather conditions. We have sites in NM, GA, AR, TX, VA, AZ, SC, MD, GA and many more.
