LS Electric Utah is seeking a detail-oriented Programmer to prepare accurate programs for the fabrication of custom switchgear components. You will collaborate with engineering and production to convert drawings and CAD models into manufacturable parts.

The role requires experience in a fabrication environment, strong reading of drawings and CAD models, and familiarity with CAD/CAM or nesting software. AutoCAD or Inventor knowledge is a plus, and Korean skills are a bonus.

Formación

• Experience programming manufacturing equipment in a fabrication environment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and CAD files.
• Experience with CAD/CAM or nesting software and the ability to learn the software and equipment used by the team.
• Understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and basic machine setup.
• Ability to check work carefully, manage revisions, and solve production problems.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hands-on experience acceptable.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor is a plus.
• Korean language skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Create, revise, and maintain programs for sheet metal parts and fabricated components.
• Review drawings, CAD models, specs, and work orders to determine programming requirements.
• Prepare cut layouts or nests, tool paths, and setup information for production.
• Check programs for dimensions, material usage, and manufacturability before release.
• Collaborate with operators, fabrication staff, and designers to troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain organized program files and revision records with current data.
• Recommend improvements that reduce waste and improve quality and safety.
