Job summary

Stulz Gmbh is seeking a Sheet Metal Programming Specialist to translate engineering drawings and CAD files into fabrication-ready programs for Amada laser, punch/laser, and press brake equipment. You will use 4iE Amada/AP100 CAM tools to optimize material yield and maintain tooling libraries, aligning with engineering and shop floor needs.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Amada CAM software, blueprints, and ERP/MRP systems, and a background in sheet metal fabrication.

Qualifications

• Reads mechanical blueprints and CAD/DXF files to create fabrication-ready programs.
• Translates drawings into CNC laser, punch/laser, and press brake instructions.
• Maintains tooling libraries, material libraries, and machine parameters.

Responsibilities

• Translate blueprints and CAD files into fabrication-ready programs for CNC equipment.
• Program and maintain cut files, nests, and bend sequences in CAM/nesting software.
• Select tooling based on material type, gauge, and geometry.
• Input precise dimensions and bend allowances to ensure first-piece accuracy.
• Coordinate with shop leadership to sequence fabrication runs.
