Feldkamp Enterprises, Inc., a Marsden Holding Company, is a trusted non-union mechanical contractor based in Cincinnati, Ohio. We seek a Sheet Metal BIM Coordinator with hands-on Revit and AutoCAD experience to produce precise 2D/3D drawings and duct layouts for commercial HVAC projects.

You will collaborate with PMs, foremen, GC and subcontractors to ensure designs are code-compliant, coordinated, and delivered on time, while maintaining organized project documentation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience using Revit in sheet metal.
• Experience drafting commercial HVAC systems including sheet metal.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D sheet metal drawings using Revit with Fabrication Ductwork.
• Develop sheet metal ductwork layouts using Revit Sheets.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, General Contractors, and subcontractors to meet deadlines.
• Ensure drawings comply with local and city HVAC codes.
• Revise and update drawings based on design changes and field conditions.
• Maintain organized project documentation and drawing files.
• Assist with material takeoffs and project documentation.

We specialize in commercial and industrial HVAC installation, retrofit, and mechanical systems. Our team is growing—and we’re looking for experienced Sheet Metal BIM Coordinator to join us.

The Sheet Metal BIM Coordinator will work closely with Project Managers, Foreman, General Contractors and subcontractors to ensure high-quality, code-compliant HVAC system designs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Revit and AutoCAD, a strong understanding of commercial HVAC codes, and the ability to produce accurate 2D and 3D production drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D sheet metal drawings using Revit with Fabrication Ductwork.


• Develop sheet metal ductwork layouts using Revit Sheets.


• Collaborating on the coordination of new construction or renovation of commercial buildings, translating concepts into detailed 2D and 3D renderings.


• Participation in meetings with Project Managers, General Contractors, and fellow subcontractors to ensure project alignment and adherence to deadlines.


• Ensure all drawings comply with local and city commercial HVAC codes.


• Revise and update drawings based on design changes and field conditions.


• Maintain organized project documentation and drawing files.


• Assist with material takeoffs and project documentation as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience using Revit specifically in sheet metal.


• Experience draft commercial HVAC systems including sheet metal.


• Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and technical documents.


• Experience generating accurate 2D and 3D production drawings.


• Familiar with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Field experience in sheet metal.


• Experience using Procore project management software.


• Knowledge of commercial HVAC system coordination and layout.

Schedule

• Full-time, exempt, 40 hours/week


• Typical workday is 7:00am — 4:00pm
