Job summary

TLD America is seeking an Assembly Technician in Morgantown, WV to assemble sheet metal parts and pressure-test valves using drills, wrenches and other hand tools. You will interpret assembly drawings and sub-assembly sketches to ensure quality and fit.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of relevant experience, can work well in a team or solo setting, and maintains safety, clean work area, and accurate time logs as required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and measurements.
• Experience assembling preformed sheet metal parts and using mechanical equipment.
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble preformed sheet metal parts using drills, wrenches and hand tools.
• Interpret assembly and sub-assembly drawings and sketches.
• Operate equipment with safety in mind and maintain a clean workspace.
• Maintain daily time logs of work performed on manufacturing travelers.
• Perform other assignments as directed by supervision.
