Prescott Metal is seeking a material handler to unload, receive, and inventory sheet stock, and deliver materials to cutting centers to support the production schedule. You will verify shipments, print barcoded tags, scan barcodes, and maintain inventory locations on the shop floor.

This role emphasizes forklift operation, safety, and accurate daily inventory, requiring reliability and teamwork in a manufacturing environment.

Formación

• High school/technical school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Warehouse or inventory control experience.
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Responsabilidades

• Unload raw materials from supplier trucks.
• Receive sheet material into inventory system and verify accuracy.
• Print and affix barcoded tags to sheet pallets for identification and traceability.
• Maintain inventory by labeling and placing materials in stock racks; scan barcodes to track locations.
• Consolidate skids of like sheet stock to maximize shelf utilization.
• Operate material-handling equipment and perform pre-use inspections.
• Work with Safety Committee to conduct forklift evaluations and inspections.
• Inspect pallets and racks to ensure condition before use.
• Keep work area clean to prevent slips and falls.
• Assist with inventory discrepancies with buyers as needed.
