Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in Production within a manufacturing environment.
• Basic mathematics and calculus.

Responsibilities

• Complete proper start-up and shutdown of equipment.
• Load materials into the extruder and adjust feed mechanisms to set feed rates.
• Move controls to activate and adjust extrusion process for product quality.
• Perform die and color changes as required.
• Set parameters to maintain process control.
• Replace screen changers as required.
• Perform housekeeping tasks on machine and area as directed.
• Report consumed items such as parts, scrap material, and colorant.
• Record production data and print labels using a computer.
• Ensure safety standards and regulations are followed and maintain a safe workspace.
