Job summary

CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. is seeking a Safety Health & Environmental Specialist to inspect and improve workplace safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead SHE projects across sites.

You will develop training, perform risk assessments, interact with auditors, and collaborate with departments, remote sites, and vendors; travel may be required. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in safety-related fields and at least one year of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year relevant experience in military, healthcare, manufacturing, or corporate environments.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and environmental compliance.
• Excellent communication, training, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lead projects and perform risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and compliant work environment by inspecting and evaluating workplace conditions, equipment, and practices in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
• Develop, maintain, and implement SHE procedures, training programs, and content to promote continuous safety improvements.
• Lead SHE projects, provide safety training to internal departments and external contractors, and support environmental compliance efforts.
• Perform and review risk assessments, interact with auditors and inspectors, and foster relationships across departments, remote sites, and vendors.
