Henkel is offering an Adhesive Technologies internship in the United States focused on Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ). The role supports inspection programs, incident investigations, risk assessments, data collection, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a degree in safety, health, or environment.
• Interest in gaining hands-on safety/health/environment experience.
• Willingness to learn and support safety programs.

Responsabilités

• Assist in conducting safety inspection activities and drive compliance.
• Participate in incident investigations and learn root-cause analysis (RCA).
• Assist with risk assessments and job safety analyses (JSA).
• Assist with data collection and record-keeping (logs, manifests).
• Support safety training and onboarding activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects (waste reduction, 5S, observations).

What you’ll do

• Assist in conducting/supporting the safety inspection program. Working with departments to drive inspection compliance and ensuring all required items are being completed.
  
• Participate in incident investigations & documentation. Gathering information and assisting/learning of RCA.
  
• Assist with completion of risk assessments/JSA
  
• Assist with data collection/record‑keeping (i.e. collecting ROAM logs, burnout oven logs, manifests) and tracking in tracking tools.
• Assist with training
  
• Continuous improvements project: waste reduction initiatives, safety observation program enhancements, 5S improvements.
