Job summary

Henkel is offering an internship in its Adhesive Technologies unit, focusing on Safety, Health and Environment. You will support safety inspection programs, assist in incident investigations, collect data, and help with training.

This role provides opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Henkel’s safety programs. The internship runs January 11th to August 13th, with housing stipend or relocation support possible.

• Interest in internship and learning safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting the safety inspection program with departments to drive compliance.
• Participate in incident investigations and documentation; assist with root cause analyses.
• Assist with completing risk assessments and JSAs.
• Assist with data collection and record-keeping (ROAM logs, oven logs, manifests).
• Review and update procedural documents.
• Assist with training activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects (waste reduction, safety observations, 5S).

What you’ll do

• Assist in conducting/supporting the safety inspection program. Working with departments to drive inspection compliance and ensuring all required items are being completed.
• Participate in incident investigations & documentation. Gathering information and assisting/learning of RCA.
• Assist with completion of risk assessments/JSA
• Assist with data collection/record-keeping (i.e. collecting ROAM logs, burnout oven logs, manifests) and tracking in tracking tools.
• Review/update procedural documents
• Assist with training
• Continuous improvements project: waste reduction initiatives, safety observation program enhancements, 5S improvements.

The salary for this role is $27-$29/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
