Job summary

Atlas Copco Group Co.,Ltd in Saugerties, NY seeks a Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) professional to support world-class safety, health and emergency preparedness. You will represent SHE during site changes, drive projects to improve the site's RCE rating, and perform risk assessments to identify hazards.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in manufacturing with EH&S experience and ISO 14001/45001 certification.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years in a multi-disciplinary manufacturing environment.
Degree and/or training in a manufacturing discipline with EH&S experience.
ISO 14001/45001 certification and/or audit experience.

Responsibilities

Represent SHE during site changes per AC, VTBA, SUN requirements.
Close open SHE actions with appropriate parties.
Drive SHE projects to closure to improve RCE rating.
Perform risk assessments for all site work to identify hazards.
Conduct regular SHE site tours and report issues to area owners and SHE Manager.
Determine root causes of incidents/near misses and implement corrective actions.
Develop and maintain a training program to ensure employees are aware of hazards and controls.
Manage the emergency response team to improve site preparedness.
Support the SHE department as needed.
