Job Summary: GM Performance Power Units is seeking an intern to support our ICE Assembly team in Concord, NC. The intern will help document how processes and departments interact, identify opportunities for standardization and improvement, and support engineering operations and manufacturing projects. Responsibilities may include creating and updating work instructions, process flow diagrams, and additional documentation, assisting with ECN documentation, organizing production data, supporting IFS/ERP updates, and tracking project action items. The role will also provide exposure to Atlas Copco tooling, torque processes, and assembly technology while allowing the intern to gain hands‑on experience within a manufacturing environment.
You’ll help support a team developing a next‑generation Formula 1 power unit, working alongside professionals who value precision, creativity, and a constant drive to improve. Interns will have the unique opportunity to work on a team poised to showcase American engineering excellence on the global Formula 1 stage.
