Job summary

A tech solutions provider located in Chicago is seeking a SharePoint Developer with 6-8 years of experience in SharePoint platform development and administration. The role involves supporting the migration of non-template based applications from Lotus Notes to SharePoint, driving implementation of application changes, and participating in requirement gathering. Candidates must possess knowledge of SharePoint 2013, jQuery, JavaScript, and HTML5, and should be fluent in English. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with business users and offshore development teams.

Qualifications

Job description

• Sharepoint 2013 development experience is a mandate.
• Good knowledge of jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5.
• Any experience in Lotus Notes to SharePoint migration is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of 3rd‑party tools such as Nintex workflows, AvePoint products like DocAve is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of SQL 2008 and above is an added advantage.

The associate is required to support the project with the migration of “non‑template based” applications in Notes to Sharepoint.

Functional requirements

• Associate is responsible for driving the analysis and implementation of application changes.
• Active participation in all onsite‑driven activities such as requirement gathering, meetings with business users, and interaction with the SP admin team for deployment of SP packages.
• Act as a middle man between business users on site and the application development team offshore.
• Migrate complex applications to SharePoint if needed together with the development team.
• Must be fluent in English.
