Job summary

A tech company based in Chicago is looking for an experienced professional to manage SharePoint platform development and administration. Candidates should have 6-8 years of experience, particularly with SharePoint 2013, and a preference for those who have worked on Lotus Notes to SharePoint migrations. The role requires strong analytical skills, fluency in English, and the ability to collaborate with both business users and an offshore development team. This is a full-time position and eligible candidates must be EAD GC, GC, or US citizens.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in SharePoint platform development and administration.
• Experience in migrating applications from Lotus Notes to SharePoint is preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL and 3rd party tools is advantageous.

Job description

6‑8 years experience in Sharepoint platform (development and administration).

Sharepoint 2013 development experience is a mandate.

Any experience in Lotus Notes to SharePoint migration is an added advantage.

Knowledge of 3rd party tools like Nintex workflows, AvePoint products such as DocAve is an added advantage.

Knowledge of SQL 2008 and above is an added advantage.

The associate is required to support the project with the migration of “non-template based” applications in Notes to Sharepoint.

Associate is responsible for: Driving the analysis and implementation of application changes. Active participation in all the onsite driven activities like requirement gathering, meetings with business users, interaction with SP admin team for deployment of SP packages Acting as middle man between Business users at onsite and applications development team at offshore Migrating complex applications to Sharepoint if needed together with development Team. Must be fluent in English.
