Job summary

Innovee Consulting LLC seeks an experienced SharePoint Administrator to manage SharePoint Online and on-premises environments. You will govern site provisioning, security, and content types while maintaining performance and resilience.

Responsibilities include building intranet features with SPFx/React/TypeScript, integrating REST APIs, and implementing CI/CD with GitHub Actions. The role is hybrid in New York with on-site and remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of SharePoint administration and development experience (SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint 2016/2019).
• 7+ years of professional experience with C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core.
• Hands-on experience with SPFx, React, and TypeScript.
• Strong PowerShell skills (including PnP PowerShell).
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server and relational database design.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Entra ID/Azure AD, Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Graph).
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer SharePoint Online and/or on-premises SharePoint Server, including site collections, permissions, storage, and tenant settings.
• Manage governance: provisioning, lifecycle policies, information architecture, metadata, content types.
• Monitor performance, availability, security, and resolve incidents.
• Handle backup, restore, patching, upgrades, migrations (e.g., on-prem to SharePoint Online).
• Automate routine admin tasks with PowerShell and PnP PowerShell.
• Collaborate with security/compliance teams on access reviews, sensitivity labels, DLP, and audits.
• Design, build, and maintain intranet portal using SPFx, React, TypeScript; ensure WCAG accessibility.
• Develop backend services, REST APIs using C#, .NET Core; build front-ends with JS/TS/React/HTML/CSS.
• Design/optimize SQL Server databases; use EF Core, Dapper for data access.
• Integrate SharePoint with systems via Graph API, REST, Azure Functions, Power Platform.
• Write tests, participate in code reviews, follow CI/CD via GitHub Actions.

SharePoint administration

• Administer SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365) and/or on-premises SharePoint Server, including site collections, permissions, storage, and tenant settings.
• Manage governance: site provisioning, lifecycle policies, information architecture, metadata, and content types.

• Design, build, and maintain the corporate intranet portal, including communication sites, hub sites, news, navigation, and search.
• Build custom web parts and extensions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, and TypeScript.
• Create page templates, branding, and responsive layouts that meet accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Set up content workflows and publishing processes so non-technical editors can manage content independently.
• Work with HR, Communications, and other business units to turn content and process needs into intranet features.
• NET full-stack development
• Develop back-end services, REST APIs, and integrations using C#, .NET / .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core (MVC / Web API).
• Build front-end interfaces with JavaScript/TypeScript, React (or Angular/Blazor), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, and data access (Entity Framework Core, Dapper).
• Integrate SharePoint with other systems using Microsoft Graph API, SharePoint REST, Azure Functions, and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Write unit and integration tests, take part in code reviews, and follow CI/CD best practices (GitHub Actions).
