Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree with substantial professional experience in IT.
• Experience administering, configuring, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft SharePoint environments.
• Hands-on experience developing and supporting business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate).
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint-based solutions, workflows, and forms.
• Experience troubleshooting SharePoint functionality, permissions, workflows, and integrations.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into SharePoint/Power Platform solutions.
• Experience with Java development and automated testing solutions for testing/deployment activities.
• Experience with REST APIs and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and CI/CD or automated deployment processes.
• Experience with modern development tools including Jenkins, GitHub/GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, JIRA/Xray.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status; ability to obtain MBI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a SharePoint Administrator/Developer and develop business solutions using Power Platform.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated testing solutions using Java, Eclipse, and testing tools.
• Develop Java-based utilities to automate test data prep and document parsing.
• Interact with relational databases using Java SQL to query/validate data (PostgreSQL).
• Develop Java-based solutions that integrate with API testing tools (ReadyAPI) for REST/POST requests.
• Apply object-oriented design principles and patterns to build reusable automation components.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency through automation and reusable solutions.
• Assist with onboarding projects to automated transmittal processes and provide Java development support.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with Java development and automated testing solutions, including developing reusable utilities, scripts, and applications to support testing and deployment activities.

• Experience working with REST APIs, relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and CI/CD or automated deployment processes.

• Experience with modern development and version control tools, including Jenkins, GitHub/GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, JIRA/Xray, or comparable tools.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder with 3 or more years of U.S. residency).

• Must be able to obtain and maintain an MBI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current active IRS MBI Clearance strongly preferred.

What will you do:

• Serve as a SharePoint Administrator/Developer, supporting site collections and developing business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated testing solutions and scripts, leveraging tools such as IBM Rational Functional Tester (RFT), Eclipse, and Java.

• Develop Java-based utilities and standalone applications to automate test data preparation, document parsing, and other repeatable testing activities, significantly reducing manual processing time.

• Develop solutions that interact with relational databases using Java SQL APIs, including querying, selecting, inserting, and validating data within PostgreSQL (psql) or comparable database environments.

• Develop Java-based solutions that integrate with API testing tools such as ReadyAPI, including command-line execution, submission of REST/POST requests, and parsing and validating API responses.

• Apply object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns, including the Factory Pattern, to develop reusable, maintainable, and scalable automation components.

• Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, data preparation, and repeatability through automation and reusable technical solutions.

• Operate and support designated customer tools and applications to facilitate and execute software transmittal and deployment processes.

• Provide dedicated Java development support, including the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of Java-based applications and solutions.

• Support the onboarding of projects to the designated automated transmittal process.
