Job summary

STEP, INC. is seeking a Shared-Ride Driver in Williamsport, PA to deliver essential transportation services within STEP's Independent Living Pathway to Success.

You will operate minivans and wheelchair-accessible vehicles, picking up and dropping off customers safely and on time. This role requires compassionate, reliable individuals who can assist with wheelchairs, groceries, and mobility needs, while maintaining professional communication with customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Possession and maintenance of a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license; access to reliable transportation and an adequately insured vehicle;
• Be at least 21 years of age; and,
• Previous professional passenger transport experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers safely and on time using STEP vehicles and assist with mobility needs.
• Provide door-to-door service and assist with wheelchairs, groceries, and personal items.
• Operate Mobile Data Terminal and GPS as part of daily routines.
• Maintain professional, courteous communication with customers, staff, and the public.
