Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking compassionate Shared Living Providers to support individuals with developmental disabilities from their own home. The role emphasizes independence, safety, and community integration while providing daily care.

You will receive training (CPR/First Aid), a competitive daily stipend, and the flexibility to work from home. The program covers billing and offers 24/7 support to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Car insurance and clean motor vehicle record (≤5 points).
• Spare bedroom and willingness to share your home.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to foster independence, choice and empowerment.
• Supervise, teach, and assist individuals in daily life activities.
• Integrate the individual into everyday life and community activities.
• Transport and accompany the individual to appointments and outings.

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities - our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are always met.
• Supervising, teaching, and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Integrating the individual into your everyday life
• Participating in community outings and appointments through transporting and assisting the individual served.

Requirements to be a Shared Living Provider include:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Fewer than 6 points in the last two years on your motor vehicle record.
• Spare bedroom and willingness to share your home.
