Job summary

Spurwink's Shared Living Program seeks individuals or families to share their home and provide support for an adult with an intellectual disability or autism. Providers develop meaningful, roommate-like relationships while making a real, lasting impact in the community.

Spurwink supplies a laptop and printer/scanner to support documentation in our Electronic Medical Record. This is a CONTRACTED position with a tax-free stipend plus room and board; the daily rate is $130.00.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Direct Support Certification-provided by Spurwink.
• CPR/First Aid Certification-provided by Spurwink.
• Shared Living Medication Course or CRMA-provided by Spurwink.
• All applicants must maintain a current driver's license and a clean driving record as outlined in Spurwink's Driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Share your home or apartment to support an adult with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Develop meaningful, roommate-like relationships and assist with documentation in the EMR.
