THE JOB:

As a Shared Finance Services Specialist, you'll play a vital role in supporting gaming audit operations and department business processes across multiple MGM Resorts properties. This detail-oriented role requires a mix of data entry, technical, and analytical skills to identify discrepancies, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and uphold accurate financial reporting. Working in a cross-functional team, you'll help implement and maintain business solutions while contributing to the integrity of our audit operations.

THE STARTING RATE: $22.60

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Complete daily departmental tasks, auditing work for accuracy, resolving discrepancies, adhering to department policies and procedures, and demonstrating proficiency in all job-related systems to support successful internal and external audits

  • Support, develop and maintain effective communication and excellent relationship with internal customers, including business units, operations, and property CFO

  • Contribute to the development, design, and measurement of assigned projects, ensuring effective execution of analytical and control activities within the department

  • Support ongoing evaluation and improvement of service quality and efficiency in collaboration with senior management across the Finance Shared Services Center

  • Participate in LEAN educated training and offer ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement

  • Support Company strategies and business plans to meet the individual and departmental performance requirements

  • Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and innovative ideas and communicate them effectively

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older and is willing to obtain a Sherriff's Gaming Card

  • Has a High School Diploma or GED

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business management
