The Program Director will oversee the residency’s operation, foster a high-quality educational environment, and ensure preparation of residents for diverse surgical careers within a hospital-employed setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape a developing General Surgery Residency Program
• Oversee leadership, administration and daily operations
• Develop curriculum, policies and educational initiatives
• Ensure compliance with ACGME requirements and state approvals
• Recruit, mentor and evaluate residents
• Coordinate clinical rotations across multiple departments
• Maintain an active general surgery practice
