Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years in a distribution center with emphasis on equipment operation, material handling, and shipping/receiving, and shag truck experience.
• Must have a current valid driver's license.
• Experience with material handling equipment.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow instructions, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and ergonomic processes to ensure an injury-free workplace.
• Operate shag truck to move and back trailers into docks.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and document per USDOT rules.
• Assist on the dock with loading/unloading as needed.
• Keep yard drop/staging lot organized and inventory accurate.
• Spot trailers correctly at docks and adhere to product temperature guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Work with limited supervision and be flexible across shifts, including weekends.
